Tailorbird tailors a resume to a job description using Claude (Anthropic's AI model) and delivers the result by email. By signing in and submitting a run, you agree to these terms. Accounts are created either by self-service request and admin approval, or set up directly by an admin - either way, you're responsible for keeping your own login and any saved API key secure.
You're responsible for what you upload or paste - your resume content and any job descriptions. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, abusive, or intended to harm the service or other accounts. Tailorbird only uses this content to produce and deliver your own tailored output - see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's collected and who else sees it.
Tailored output is AI-generated. Claude is instructed to work only from what's actually in your resume, never to invent experience, but AI output can still be wrong or need adjustment. Always review a tailored resume yourself before sending it to an employer - Tailorbird doesn't take responsibility for what you choose to submit downstream.
Tailorbird itself doesn't charge anything. If you use your own Anthropic API key, usage is billed by Anthropic directly to your own account, at Anthropic's own published rates - the app's Billing tab shows real cost figures (clearly labeled estimated or actual) so you can track that spend, but Tailorbird never handles payment itself. If an admin account bills a submission to the server's own key instead, that's between the admin and Anthropic.
Tailorbird is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind - including that it will be available at all times, free of bugs, or produce a perfect result for every resume and job description. It depends on Anthropic's API, Google Drive, and an SMTP provider for email delivery, all of which are outside Tailorbird's control.
An admin may suspend or remove an account for misuse, abuse, or at their discretion. You can ask to have your account and its data removed at any time - see the Privacy Policy for how.
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continuing to use Tailorbird after an update means you accept the current version.
